Saving passwords in FF1.5.0.4 and later builds

Postby Fulvio » Mon 03 Jul, 2006 1:38 pm

I had noticed that most passwords were not save in FF1.5.0.4, and later builds, such as Bon Echo and Minefield (each with their own profile).
I had also noticed that the box, in the Privacy|Paswords, which was had been checked had become unchecked. I noticed that if I checked the box once again, and then entered the password, I was being asked if I wanted to save the password. This was true of FF3.0a1, as in all other FFs. If I just checked the box, and then did nothing, the box became unchecked.
All passwords which were saved stayed in the View Passwords, but if the manager had a mental lapse no new password was saved.
This is an obvious bug which may not be found by everyone, but it happened to me too many times, to be coincidence.
