Scroll mouse revisited

Postby Fulvio » Mon 28 Oct, 2002 11:30 am

I have a Microsoft wheel optical mouse, which scrolls by clicking on the wheel in everything except Netscape6/7 and associated Mozillas. There was a question of this kind asked a while back. Whatever was suggested or discussed did not help. I can use the mouse, by turning the wheel, but this is not much fun. I know that some of you have Logitech mice, or perhaps other brands. How do you set up the critter to work, if it does?
And, I have the latest driver.
In case I get a dozen smilies, I wonder why they do not work, today. No, they are not disabled.

It doesn't. But there's work going on surrounding it (e.g. http://mozscroll.mozdev.org/).

Thanks. This makes much more sense than anything I got from everyone at the Champion's Board, combined.
