I don't know what the hell's wrong with having empty space in the middle.

This is NOT an advert.

Currently, I have no plan to fill in that space with ad banner. The space may be used for some special occasions or special messages.

I am experimenting the expandable format for the SillyDog701 Message Centre layout.

It is possible to have a big white space as screenshot below:

Feedback welcome.

Looks fine to me, a lot better than having the logo fixed at 750px with a ton of white space on the side.

Here's something I noticed recently with the new white space: it works fine using the SD701 Default layout...

Image

...but seems to break a bit using the SD701 LargeFont layout...

Image

...while IE apparently adds its own whitespace to the right!

Also, ideally, that text should be put below the logo:

And inside the subforums, the search box and stuff around it should be put there, too:

Agreed, regarding the ads!

The site should adjust to the user's monitor resolution and display accordingly.

FWIW, I have a 19" LCD and its resolution is 1024x768.

Is it me, or is the front page back to a fixed 750px, with the logo flush with the right of the page?

The front page does not get reverted back to 750px. Blame your browser.

Screenshot taken just few minutes ago.

SillyDog701 decides to give you a surprise in the layout. SillyDog701 Message Centre has a new background! Just available on the Eve the Vista is released.

And the screenshot below for those who blocked images. (if you do not unethically block the following image.)

I'll admit I was surprised this morning to find a Vista logo on the Forums.

Both beanboy89 and Mandrake expressed the same thing to me. I wonder why?

Probably because you are very much pro-Mac. :D

My K6-2 box won't even run Vista, so I'm not going to spend the money for it. When Windows Media Player 11 crashed the system, TWICE, to the point of automatic reboots, that was it.

We had Vista logo on the Forum a few months back, I think it is fair to have Leopard logo ;-)

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is releasing at 6pm 26th October 2007 worldwide.
