Hello TK19,
You might want to try this free app:
freePhotoConverter, a small and easy-to-use tool, best of all, free.

The only problem is that you will need to configure the output location to somewhere convenient, e.g. to your Desktop instead.

Thanks! Here is mine feturing my beautiful guitar.

Nice, TK 19 similar to mine is that one a Squier or a proper Fender? mine is the latter but black with matching scratchplate Smile

It is actually a guitar factory custom. They said it was pretty good

Here's the latest from my Linux Pentium machine, running SuSE Linux Personal 9.0. Almost 8 years old, and it still works. Mr. Green

My newest desktop image on Windows 98 SE.

In the upper right corner is Winamp3 build 499. It was the last internal build branded as Wianmp3 before the project became known as wasabi.player.

Thats my sisters dog on her clean laundry (isn't he so good). It was so cute so I had to make it not show desktop icons. For anyone who cares, his name is Marley, though almost everyone calls him marley bears.

A few questions for DJGM:

  • How did you skin Mac OS X as shown in this screenshot?
  • How did you get that application manager in the corner found on OS 9 to work on OS X?
  • How did you get Dock to work on OS 9?

1. A program called Shapeshifter.

2. A tiny app called X-Assist.

3. An app called A-Dock.

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

Mozilla = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Microsoft Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

Here's my current Tiger desktop - http://kidzilla.planetaclix.pt/pu7o-tiger.jpg - Running Shapeshifter using the brushed-free theme (makes all Brushed Metal apps take on the Aqua look; You can see the effect for yourself on iChat, Safari and the Finder)

DJGM,
do you know how much HD space A-dock takes up, because i am thinking of installing it on my G3 Mac if it doesn't take up too much space. I only have about 2GB of space left. Thanks in advance!

It only takes up a few megabytes. IIRC, it has a 15 day trial before it reminds you to buy it.

Still on 56k dial-up? Don't worry, you can still enjoy the Antony Desktop in Action, part 5 without long downloads.

All you need to do is tell your QuickTime player your correct internet connection, and your QuickTime Player and SillyDog701 server will handle the rest.

In OS X, you can go to System Preference > QuickTime > Streaming and select the right speed.

In Windows, open QuickTime, Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences > Connection Speed.

Now,
Antony Desktop in Action, part 5

Remember to turn on your speakers. Enjoy the show.
(QuickTime 5.0.2 is required for high end movie, QuickTime 4 will work for low end movie.)

There's a version specially designed for 56kbps dial-up users.
