| Quote: | Amicably? | Yes of course, amicably. Domains in question were swapped and that was that .. until Antony decided to bring bits and pieces up again .. and again ... And then he had to start it all over again with his initial post in the "Katrina" thread. C'mon man, can't you see the forest for the trees and see what he's up to ??? Why didn't he just terminate the message directly after a concern for my safety?? Tell us what YOUR take is on including the reference to the past incidents, etc. There just wasn't any plausible reason for it.

I think Antony has every reason to do what he did. After your earlier attempts at disrupting the functioning of this website, it's pretty normal that everybody treats you like the stupid person you are.

He was probably concerned about your welfare the same way everybody's concerned about most people. Come on, if someone said that the guy X was in danger of death, you would probably be concerned too. Since he referenced you, it's only natural that he presents the SD701 where you played the main role. And he even mentioned he holds no grudges, so why are you so annoyed? Frankly, this is probably the biggest case of stupidity i've seen since i'm an SD701 member.

There was NO REASON whatsoever to expand any further as to who I am than that paragraph explaining that I was the man behind the Netscape Unofficial FAQ, none whatsoever, that was explanation enough.
What I would have done under similar circumstances would be:
"A typhoon hit Melbourne today and we're very concerned about the welfare of Antony Shen, the main driving force behind SillyDog701 Support Forum. We wish Antony the best".
And THAT my friend would be all that's necessary. Would it have been the right thing to do to add after that:
"Oh and by the way, Antony was just released from jail after serving 10 years for manslaughter". I suppose you won't see my point and that is WHY bring that up as to how does that relate to a concern for his welfare? <sigh>

After all that you have done, it's perfectly natural for one to want to warn readers about who a referenced person really is - In this case, a man with no ethics whatsoever, who'd do anything to get attention and steal users from other netscape supporting websites into your own, including banning and cybersquatting the owner of one such site.

Oh, and on my previous post, did I forget to mention word replacing?

Man o man, are you grossly mis-informed. Me? Steal users? My UFAQ enjoys an average of 70,000+ hits on a daily basis and today a little over 3,000 registered users. Why should anyone need to steal users, including Antony? I don't see any reason whatsoever for him OR me to need to steal users. That is completely absurd.
And "word replacing" ?? I suppose you're referencing the "censor" thing. Can you read and comprehend that I didn't do any such thing.
And then YOU have to resort to name calling ... "stupid". I don't think we need to exchange replies any further as you've positioned yourself in the same barrel with Antony.

| Quote: | And according to this screenshot, you clearly state that only you and your son are admins at UFAQ.org. | Well, you're slowly but surely losing this argument That screenshot was from a post on 14-SEPTEMBER-2005, just a few days ago. And yes, NOW there are only two admins, me and my Son. However, there were others at the time of the referenced incident which was quite some time ago and it was one of those admins that did the dirty deed and has since been fired so to speak.
You'll also notice that I don't make screenshots of posts here and use them on the UFAQ for ANY reason whatsoever, I run a clean and "to the point" support forum. IMHO, it's rather juvenile to consistently take screenshots of other's fora to use in such a manner as on this forum.
OFF TOPIC: Is PU7O a ham call sign? Looks like it would be but I can't find any such PU prefix being associated with Portugal. I have thousands of QSL cards but none with a PU call, PY yes, hundreds.

Pu7o is supposed to mean "Puto", since Puto is already taken at several places I usually wander about (namely, IRC).

Wow, that was quick, you deleted your repsonse but thanks for the explanation about the IRC handle already being taken and PU7O not being a call sign. Even tho we're at odds I still am not the sort of person to reveal any details of your deleted post. And BTW, good to see you in the UFAQ log, even if for only the 2+ mins that you were there from 87.xxx.xxx.xxx. Please understand that I do NOT snoop other people's servers and post personal data and such. We're far above doing things like that.

What I mentioned was not an accusation but rather just a statement of ethics which had nothing to do with your visit earlier this evening.
