Three months ago. I posted Desktop in Action, part 5.

Now, this movie is available in stunning H.264 codec and streaming from QuickTime Streaming Server (Darwin Streaming Server)
presenting Antony Desktop in Action, Part 5 in H.264
(streaming, H.264 codec, QuickTime 7 Player required)
In this example, the image is larger 640x400, instead of 480x300 (max) in previous example. Not just bigger and clearer image, but the file size is actually much smaller. It requires less bandwidth.
H.264 rules!

My Windows 95 desktop is certainly overdue to be cleaned up. At least the cat can still see me.

How many Netscapes do you have installed?

Okay, time for me to post new desktop screenshot.
Featuring Kyle Carlson from the Carlson Twins .
The QuickTime Player window being minimised was playing a video clip of the interview with..., who else?, the Carlson Twins of course.

You don't want to know. But since you asked, let's see how many are currently installed on this PC:
Windows for Workgroups 3.11:
Netscape 1.22
Netscape Navigator 3.0
Netscape Navigator Gold 3.04
Netscape Communicator 4.08 Professional
Windows 95:
Netscape 1.1
Netscape Navigator 2.0
Netscape Navigator 2.02
Netscape Navigator 3.01
Netscape Navigator Gold 3.04
Netscape Communicator 4.04
Netscape Communicator 4.08
Netscape Communicator 4.76
Netscape Communicator 4.8
Netscape 6.23
Windows NT:
Netscape 1.1
Netscape 1.22
Netscape Navigator 2.0
Netscape Navigator 2.02
Netscape Navigator 3.0
Netscape Navigator 3.01
Netscape Navigator Gold 3.04
Netscape Communicator 4.04
Netscape Communicator 4.08
Netscape Communicator 4.7 with Calendar
Netscape Communicator 4.76
Netscape Communicator 4.8
Netscape 6.23
Netscape 7.01
Linux
None yet
So that comes out to 28 installations on this PC. I dare not count the number of Netscape install files I have. Let's just say that the installers total more than a gigabyte.

If you think that is bad, look at mine.

Notice there is a FireFox install thing barely visible on the screen. You can see the one letter piece.
This was caused by 3-4 months of not cleaning up the desktop.

Here's my desktop on Windows XP.
Full-sized image .
I thought I'd switch away from "classic" and try the "Olive Green" Luna visual style for awhile.

Heres a suggestion for this thread. For every desktop image that is in the background, people need to add a link where they can download that picture. I know there are many desktops I would like to download, but they have icons.
