The software update tool in Firefox 1.5 release candidates is great; I was able to upgrade from RC1 through a menu command from the moment I heard this news. Additionally, the update tool is semi-automated (it didn't prompt me to run the installer) and for an incremental upgrade doesn't even need to download the entire full-size file.

To be honest, I can't notice the difference between Firefox 1.5 RC1 and this version (1.5 RC2)

I'm impressed to see that the Themes and the extensions I use all work with 1.5rc2, but must add that I didn't try rc1.

Now, does anyone know where FF1.5 is hiding the Cache folder. I don't have one, and, another fellow I know does not either.
The profile forFF1.0.7 surely does.

On Win 98 the cache is in the same place as 1.07: C:/Windows/Application Data/Mozailla/Firefox/Profiles/name of profile/Cache

So far, I haven't experienced the crashing problems I had with RC1. Not sure why, the release notes don't address the issue. But glad that it SEEMS to be solved.

There is a location for the folder, but, in WinXP, it is not in the expected profile path. In order to find it, you have to type about:cache. and, the, you find: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\wrsyjdtd.Firefox1.04\Cache
Notice the Local Settings. That's acurve that I did not expect.
