Xtralean Software has released ImageWell 3, a free and lean image editor for Mac OS X. We have free registration keys to give away.

ImageWell is a small, but powerful, image editing application that lets you quickly resize, crop, watermark, edit your images and then upload them to the web, save to your computer or email them to a friend. ImageWell also lets you annotate your images with text, shapes, arrows and lines, quickly and easily. And it doesn't stop there - add a drop shadow, a shaped border, flip or rotate your image, take screen grabs, plus so much more.

ImageWell is not designed to compete with Photoshop, however, if you are looking for a quick and small image editor that allows you to resize, crop, watermark, and the ability to lines, shapes, text and arrows with easy, ImageWell is the right choice for you. And the best of all, it's free.

MacCentre701 has secured a few registration keys allowing users to unlock Xtra features. Those Xtra features are:
  • Batch Resize Mode (and batch upload mode)
  • Multiple images on the Canvas
  • More Drea Objects, Shapes, and Line Styles
  • Gradient Patterns for Draw Objects and Backgrounds

For more detail about those features, please visit this page. ImageWell Xtra is valued at US$14.95, and we have a few copies to give away completely.

For more detail about obtaining the free registration keys to unlike ImageWell to Xtras, please see this thread.

ImageWell is completely free, even without the Xtra, I found it's powerful enough for most usage.

Thanks Antony for sharing this useful application.

The first thing I noticed about ImageWell is its user-friendliness. I think one doesn't need to read the user-guide or manual inorder to use this app. Like most Mac apps, the "drag and drop" is present. Also, I like how you can easily add "bubbles" to your photos and be able to choose the shape, color, font, shadow, opaqueness and etc. to it. You can experiment every combination that you want!

I tried using every feature that it has (except the extras) and I am happy with it. My photos on my homepage and Friendster account will undergo a "change-over" soon, thanks to ImageWell! Very Happy
