As I said I would in my announcement, I'm re-publishing all the blog entries from MSN Spaces
here on this message board. The first entry is fairly short, but the others are somewhat longer.
I have applied a few minor edits to the re-published articles.

Please excuse me while I have a bit of a whinge!
A short while ago (approx. one hour or so) I was not exactly in a
happy mood. Over the weekend, my website (DJGM.co.uk) was
unavailable. This was due to the web hosting company moving
everything to new servers in another building.
Essentially, system maintenance and upgrading work. Anyway,
earlier this evening, I noticed that the site was back online.
But, there was one rather annoying snag with this. It'd
all been completely reverted to how it was just
before I'd last updated it!
Basically, it seems that the web hosting peeps don't
backup the contents of their servers with customer
websites on them often enough.
So, I've just had to spend ages re-uploading a bunch of images
and webpage files back on to my site. So basically, I'm not
really very happy about having to do that.
My other moan is towards Microsoft's MSN website. Although I
have been known to be an occasionally harsh critic of the
planet's favourite software company, and in general, I do
agree that some of the things they do aren't too bad.
Recently, I've been using MSN Messenger, even though I've
shunned it in the past. But my gripe is not with that, it's
with the MSN website, particularly MSN Spaces.
Since re-uploading content to my website earlier, I've been
trying to edit my pages on this MSN Spaces thing. Every
few minutes, I'm presented with "service unavailable"
error messages. Between 23:00 - 00:00 at
night, this shouldn't be happening!
MSN - pull yer virtual socks up!
And while I'm on the subject of this website: MSN, how about
starting to allow users of internet browsers other than that
virtual train wreck known as IE, upload photos
onto the photo album section?!?
OK, folks . . . whinge over . . . !

On the 7th September, I posted an article called "DJGM does the buisness . . . Part 1".
As I'll be publishing Part 2 of that on this forum, I've decided to re-publish that
particular article seperately from my other blog entries from MSN Spaces.
And now, on to my final blog entry from MSN Spaces . . .

Due to the rather unnecesary technical restrictions that've been put in place
here on MSN Spaces, I have taken the decision to move my entire blog to
the DJGM.co.uk Message Board, part of the SillyDog701 Message Centre.
The technical restrictions I'm referring to are:
Being forced to use IE6 for the Photo Album. Why should I use
a specific browser to be able to add photos to this site?
The facility to add new blog entries, appears to have been set to
not work correctly with any web browser made for Mac OS X.
While my PC is out of action, due to a worn out power supply fan,
my Mac is the only computer I can use to access the internet.
Therefore, since I have had to technically jump through several
hoops, to be able to post this message here, I've decided that
this is to be my final blog entry on the MSN Spaces website.
If you have any comments about this
decision, please post them below . . .

It's not so much they lost content, it's like I said, they don't appear to backup the servers containing
their customers websites often enough. (It's a good job I actually bother backup my stuff as often
as I can!) DJGM.co.uk 1.0 Beta 3 made a somewhat rather unscheduled reappearance, so I had
to re-upload some of the content, in order to re-publish DJGM.co.uk 1.0 Beta 4 . . . !
