09 Oct, 2005 12:20 am Formal Apology to Antony Shen and SD701 Members. |

The following letter is a formal apology from Ron Williams to Antony Shen and all members offended by my behavior in the previous months starting on 8/29/05.
As mentioned by many members, my statements toward Antony, were less than that of an educated person and my demeanor entire time was attacking. While I do not take back my defending of Jay Garcia, I understand, through meditation, that I could have defended him in a better way instead of attacking Antony. Since arriving at Sillydog701 in Nov. 2003, I have had multiple conflicts with Antony. This latest incident has caused many un-needed statements to be said. These include calling him an A**hole, claiming he hacked my server, and calling him a fag. Regarding these comments I apologize and wish that whatever friendship we may have had slowly come back. My rude and offensive behavior toward Antony has been less then admirable. After researching who the hack was done by, it was proven to come from a completely different group, un-related to SD701. The one thing I do not and will not retract are my statements regarding admin and Antony being the same person.
With this experience, I hope I can become a member like I used to be, contributing educational and helpful posts, attempting to further the helpfulness of this board, and learn more about computers through the sharing of information via other members.
Now, with this apology hopefully we can leave this experience behind and in the past and continue the great work here at SD701.

Ron: I appreciate this apology.
Each individual, as they grow and mature, should learn that there has to be behavioral limits on our actions during a disagreement. My personal experience has been that the lowest limits are the best, and that it is better to wait about two days before responding to emotional issues.
