Cnet has a nice FAQ on if you can run Windows natively on Apple's new Intel-based Mac.
A few notes from the FAQ:
Just because you might get Windows running on a Mac, or Tiger running on their Dell, doesn't mean it's legal.

The challenge comes in the technical means by which the operating systems load. Windows loads itself using something known as the Basic Input/Output System, or BIOS. Apple's Intel Macs, however, use a newer technology known as Extensible Firmware Interface.

Q: What about running the Mac OS on a non-Apple PC?
A: There isn't a legal way to do that, given that Apple doesn't sell standalone versions of its operating system. Because all Macs come with some form of the Mac OS, the retail boxes that Apple sells are only licenses to upgrade from one version to another.

According to The Mac Observer and MacDailyNews,
Apple has hidden a poem inside OS X that warns users not to pirate the operating system, according to OSx86 Project. The Web site noted on Tuesday: "a few pieces of OS X look for a secret message in 'commpage' that gets decrypted via the TPM... basically a decoder ring for geeks. " The poem reads:
Your karma check for today:
There once was a user that whined
his existing OS was so blind,
he'd do better to pirate
an OS that ran great
but found his hardware declined.
Please don't steal Mac OS!
Really, that's way uncool.

News from The Mac Observer, one of the major unethical groups dedicated on hacking Mac OS X (Intel) and providing instructions on how to install OS X on an unauthorised PCs have hit the DCMA violation notice.
In their forum's main page, they said

CNN's story on this: Apple's ode to hackers

The thing is, nobody knows who "maxxuss" really is. So they can't sue a person they don't know the identity of.

Attempts at booting Vista under an Intel iMac by OSx86Project are improving: Now, Vista can get all the way to this. It eventually freezes when it reaches crcdisk.sys.

Apple closes OS X Intel Kernel.

Apple has responded Tom Yager's speculation.
The Mac Observer has a report on this:

i already sent an email to Apple about te site, what they do with it...we can only hope.
i cant stand my favourite OS being hacked and cracked to those undeserving systems.
pls pls pls, if anyone of you find such websites, pls report them to Apple. Lesser 'patched' OS X roaming the net = more incentive for Apple to create new OSes.
