I happened to come across this just now...

The question remains: is this going to move out of Japan?

Excellent news. I've been waiting for a web browser for the DS for a while, and since the DS already has WiFi, a web browser is the next logical step.

I'd certianly hope it does. And if it makes it to the United States, I'll be sure to pick up a copy for my DS!

I would like to say thank you to Opera and Nintendo for balance up the product availability region, even though I do not receive any benefit from this decision. Smile We shouldn't have everything that's available in the States first.

Thankfully Nintendo made the DS is region-free. So no matter where any DS software or game is released, it should run on any Nintendo DS system from any country.

That's good to know. You might need to give them some time to work out the deals (between distributors or whatever), and the translation of the DS card package.

Out of curiosity, why did this get posted to MozInfo701? It isn't even Mozilla news!

Although we focus on Mozilla news, but a few non-Mozilla browser news shouldn't hurt.
