Please excuse Antony's poor English.

Here presents
'Twas the night before WWDC (also known as “A keynote from Steve Jobs”)

based on Clement Clarke Moore's Twas the Night before Christmas Poem (also called “A Visit from St. Nicholas")

'Twas the night before Keynote, when all through the conference.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a cat.
All MacBooks were fully recharged with care,
In hopes that Steve Jobs soon would be there.

The audiences were ready all anxious in their seats,
While visions of Steven and big surprises in their heads,
And music switched off, and I ended iChat AV,
Had just refreshed our brains with exciting speculations.

When out of Moscone there arose such loud noises,
I sprang from my Safari and jumped to other sites.
Unsurprisingly but confirmed my usual expectation,
Open-source extremists and Windows lovers started bashing.

Leopard would be the highlight, wonder what new surprises were?
Cheetah, Puma, and Jaguar have all served well and retiring.
Panther was still there, but fading fast,
Tiger rules the OS still, but won’t last long.

And then, in a twinkling, all lights went off,
The cheering and clapping came all over.
So on the stage, Steve Jobs came,
in his usual style - black tee and blue jeans.

Thanks for sharing this poem.
It's fun and interesting.
Can't wait for the WWDC 2006. Very Happy

BTW, how long you spent writing this? Question

Here's a prediction for WWDC (not Razz):

The next iPod will be huge! An 8-pounder, with a 10-inch screen!

You're sure you wrote this part? I thought you didn't need to update to the latest new thing.

Why do you always need the latest of everything?

Please make sure you read this sentence,
“Open-source extremists and Windows lovers started bashing.”

Well, 'tis the night before WWDC, and a certain open-source extremist and Windows user isn't bashing.
