Yeah, I read about that skin before. It's an attempt at making Windows Firefox look like Mac Firefox. (Which I actually tried to do once, and was half-successful at it. I think I posted some screenshots of that on the Firescape thread.)

I haven't been "threatened" yet, but the author of the theme that I was using on Macfox (GrApple Uno) asked me to remove it. I'll continue development of Macfox if I can put together a similar enough theme.

Well, development on Macfox has restarted, using a theme based on iFox. (iFox is MPL'ed, here's a quote from browser.css):

As such, here's Macfox 0.1.1 Beta, with the new theme based on iFox. Please don't advertise this yet, since the previous release got WAY too many downloads, which ended up completely smashing my server's bandwidth. I'm still waiting for it to recover.

Mostly, just bugfixes. The bookmarks toolbar bug is fixed, and the safari-style progress bar is working again.

Macfox 0.2 has been released.
Macfox 0.2 has been released. Macfox 0.2 includes the following new features:
- The aqua controls were a bit refined, now they act more like Safari's.
- Added (incomplete) support for <input type="search">.
- The Firefox codebase was updated to the latest code in the 1.8.1.x branch.
- Macs with a G3 processor are now supported.
