Dear SillyDog701 members,
As par our poll, we think this weekend (9th/10th December) would be a good time for our End of Year 2006 online chat.
Now, we need to decide a time.
Our usual times are:
15:01 GMT 9th December 2006
2:01 AM Sydney Time (10th Dec)
0:01 AM Perth (mid-night, daylight saving)
10:01 AM EST;
7:01 AM PST
0:01 GMT (mid night) 10th December 2006
11:01 AM Sydney time
9:01 AM Perth time (daylight saving)
7:01 PM EST 9th Dec
4:01 PM PST 9th Dec
The online chat is scheduled for 1 hour, all users are welcome to stay longer.
And it's extremely likely to be in our usual venue.
Please cast your vote, so we can schedule a time.
Thanks.
Antony

Based on our voting result (until now), we will schedule an online chat at 0:01 GMT (mid night) 10th December 2006.
The venue will be the usual one,
irc: irc.dixiesys.net
port: 6667
channel: #sillydog701
You will need an IRC client to connect to our server.
Hope to see you there!
Users wishing to come on 15:01 GMT 9th December 2006 are welcome, but might not have many users.

It looks like I can probably make the chat if it is indeed at 7:01 PM EST on Saturday, 9th Dec.
I, strangely enough, still get confused by all the time zone conversions. I thought that the chat was going to take place, in my time zone, at 7 PM on Sunday, December 10, a time when I am usually in church.

0:01 GMT 10th December 2006 is one minute pass midnight (GMT time), which is the first minute of the new day (10th December). One reason I don't schedule 0:00 GMT the way it's confusing, some people consider midnight as the end of the day, and some count it as beginning of a day.
