Antony, are you comparing Tidus the great to the mere status of people like Tony Blair and George W. Bush? I like that blog entry about Tidus' wife stopping the truck hijacker. Sounded like a scene from one of those unbelievable action movies!
At any rate, Tidus has absolutely no right to see anything being written in ModOnly. DJGM would certainly know the contents are confidential.

That was a real event. It didn't happen as drastically as i wrote it, but Kassie is an excellent Martial Artist, she's been practising it since she was little, she's now a 10th Dan instructor of it and has been driving for over 9 years, since she was 18, she's now 27, and is a competent driver, and does rally driving in her Subaru for fun, and enters competitions. Make of it what you will, but frankly i don't care what you think, none of you know us, so i ain't going to lose sleep over it.
Greg does know ModOnly is confidential, but will let me know if i'm being talked about. That's our loyalty as friends, we look out for each other. He didn't defend my case over KJC because i told him he was wating his time, and not to bother. I can fend my own battles. I know what is in there, i have saved pages from here and could easily spread it outside SD, but won't, i'm not that sort of guy. My time with SD is coming to an end. I've enjoyed it, and i haven't, and these recent episodes, although partly my fault, have led to me opening my eyes, realising my faults, and actually doing something about it. I actually sat down with my wife last night, and we discussed my faults, and what we could do together to help me.
I'm on my way to recovery, and it's thanks to you guys, partly. I at least owe you the thanks for that, even James. It was him who made me stop and think. Thanks James.

If this is true (and I'm so confused by you that I just don't know what to believe anymore) then I'm glad for you. After all...why shouldn't I wish you well? But the sad fact is, Tidus, I don't know what to believe.

Serious?
Geeze, I've seen better writing from eighth graders! Okay... if that is being passed off as legitimate, I'm outta here. Fool me once. Shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

Well... we're given exact speeds traveled which is ludicrous since the major players would not be relating such irrelevant information. The only way such information would be included in a story would be from the mind of the writer of the story... in this case, the rather childish fictional account of someone who doesn't even tell a half-way decent story at that. I was serious when I said I've taught eighth graders who could have come up with better stories than this one... at least a bit more believable.

Agreed. A news story like that would've been on the BBC for sure.
The delivery truck the robber stole had "up to £1.5 million worth of stock" in it. We later find out that the truck had "70 brand new KJC machines" in it. Each computer is worth in excess of £21,000? I find that very hard to believe. For that kind of money you could be buying MIPS based SGI workstations. |
No, idiot! The £1.5 million worth of stock *included* 70 KJC machines, plus the rest in other stock, such as hard drives, optical units, keyboards, mice, blank CD's/DVD's etc, and all sorts of other stuff.
Open your eyes first. And it wasn't on the news becuse we told the police and everyone not to involve the media. I only wrote the story as Kas told her witness statement, it isn't very highly accurate, as obviously she was shocked, and the adrenalin was flowing.
You obviously don't know what Martial Artists are capable of. I do, they're very fast, agile, quick thinking. Heck, if you think i'm wrong, i'm married to an instructor!
This is the end of this subject, stop nitpicking.

I thought you said you were outta here? You just can't resist, can you? Look, i've apologized to you, and thanked you for making me realise my error. Now leave me alone, please. I can't get on with my life if you're constantly picking fun at it.

1. As Antony mentioned, ALL SD members are entitled to post in these threads. Bear in mind, Tidus, that I've been a member here far longer than you.
2. If you wouldn't fabricate things to the point of silliness, people wouldn't be tempted to poke fun. Your stories are so silly that only a child would believe them. If you would try the truth for a change, we might not "pick fun" with you.
Besides anger management, you need a course in truth telling. You see, part of your problem is you have the mistaken idea that you can control what others think. You can't, Tidus. You also need to bear in mind that many of us have far more experience in life than you. In short, we've been around and know a thing or two. Telling the police to "keep it hush hush" is so silly it doesn't even merit a response. The fifth estate, Son, will not be kept out of the day's happenings REGARDLESS of what you desire. In short, your entire story is a JOKE. Naturally we're going to laugh at you for being so childish as to believe we're that gullible.
TRY THE TRUTH TODAY. (your 4 t's challenge for the day)

In short, no. This is my last post here, ever. I'm turning my life around, so am putting it all behind me.
I'm not answering any more questions here. Why should i? I don't know you all (and frankly wouldn't want to!) This is The Internet, and is anonymous. I don't care if you believe me or not, i don't listen to a word you say. You're not going to tell me what to do, ever.
Take your intimidating attitude, and stick it where the sun doesn't shine, Mandrake! I don't care if you're one of Antony's "beloved" Moderators, i don't give a crap if you ban me, i'm gone anyway. I've served my purpose, i've helped my users out, never asked for money.
Keep kissing Antony's butt, SillyDog Moderator. You're weak and feeble, you think you're great because you're a forum moderator run by a Mac obsessed freak?
Get lost, and get a life. I am, and it starts tomorrow. And ends with my time at SillyDog (what a stupid name for a forum!), i'm not coming back, for definite.
Goodbye! And good riddance

I actually tried ending things on a good note in The Lounge, but it doesn't seem to have been noticed, so i did it this way!
Sorry to have done it like this, but you're all doing my head in!
