12 Feb, 2007 5:44 am today's horrible kids |

Kids are horrible these days.
They like doing all sorts of things, and they thought no one can do a thing on them, because they are minor. SillyDog701 has seen a number of unacceptable behaviours from horrible kids in the past.
Some kids like to enjoy themselves at other people's expanse. Such as making phony calls (crank calls, prank calls). It is so sad that today's kids do not have better things to do beside enjoying such low class entertainment among themselves.
Shame.

when i was growing up, we'd always play pranks on people (phone calls, moving stuff around in their garden, sending pizza deliveries round etc), i guess we did it because there wasn't anything else to do - i'm talking 15 years ago - we never did it to hurt anybody, but just for fun.
my girlfriends mum and dad had an issue going on for a year or so where the same few boys would go round their house, bang on their door, make loads of noise, it was really intimidating for them - we never did it persistently to one person - but they were eventually identified and the problems stopped, but it must have taken 8/9 months to get enough cctv evidence to identify them.
if they were asked why they did it, i suspect they would cite the same reasons; there isn't really that much to do in smaller villages for kids. the village i grew up in closed its youth club many years ago, i don't think it has one now. i guess there's the widespread access to internet and video games but not everybody is into that.
just like me, i would think that they have never even thought about how their behaviour effects and terrorises people - i certainly never did and looking back i probably wouldn't have done many things that i did.
i do however think that this is part of growing up, whatever society says, kids aren't adults, and no amount of social indoctrination will force them to behave as such, they're kids, everybody handles growing up differently if there is one thing that has changed since i was growing up is that kids have an awareness that even if they get caught and reported to the police, in all but the most extreme circumstances, nothing much will happen to them. we on the other hand were scared witless of being reported to the police and our murky behaviours being found out by our parents.

Today's kids are very rude and well educated (on their 'legal' rights). They all know how to read out loud to your face: you can't arrest them, you can't touch them (which is against the law), and there's not point calling the police (they won't get charged because they are under 18)... so they can keep annoying people and damage people's properties at their wishes.
I don't think any sane person would be happy to be woken up at 3.45am in the morning by those prank calls. Those kids called 3 times.
I was stunned and saddened to learn those kids would called me in the morning were SillyDog701 members, and the boy who spoke on the phone has yet apologised.
Those kids should be arrested, and spanked every night until they reach the age of 18, then they should be tortured until they reach the age of 21.

I've been getting prank calls on my mobile, and i think i know who it is (not naming names) I know it isn't my customers, because they always leave their number. I suspect certain persons from SillyDog and Metropol have been trying to have a laugh. Because, it has only happened since i put my mobile number on KJC's website, and even then, they only happened after Lobster started his hate campaign against me.
Whoever it is, i will not answer "private number" or "no number" calls, i'll just pick the phone up, not say anything, and let you waste your credit. To combat this problem, once i start our proper company up, i'm changing my SIM, and only letting friends, family, and customers know my new number!
Problem solved! But for now, feel free to keep doing it, and wasting your time and money! That is how sad you lot are!

These kids you're talking about, Antony, wouldn't be the same kids who formed an awesome computer company called KJC Computers, would they?

No it's not Tidus. It's the same person that rang Ronnie Williams and left a message on his answering machine saying it was me.
It was pretty rude to ring Antony at that time. I hope the person who did that apologizes, but I'd hardly consider it an offense worthy of torture every day until 21!

The company wasn't called KJC Computers, and i'm not a kid, thankyou very much, although i wish i was, life was so much easier back then! And i don't do pranks. If i want to slag someone off, or annoy them, i phone them, and actually speak to them, or face to face!

Tidus' offensive and rude post has been removed. To address his concerns, RID-CJK Computer Corporation has removed all materials that were Tidus' original work. (No, pictures of half dressed women and damaged trucks that you found on Google Images are not owned by you Tidus!)
If Tidus cannot stop posting in a rude manner with vulgar language and resulting to childish name calling then I shall remove every single one of his posts containing offensive material until he does manage to learn.

I have already apologised for that prank call. I had no idea that it was 3:45 AM in Australia when I called. Oh, and by the way, I'm not a minor

It has been more than 24 hours since I received three prank calls in one morning (all before 3.49am that morning). The boy who spoke on the phone has yet apologised, let's see how long that guy is pretending it wasn't him.
Dare to make a prank call then go hiding. It's quite "chicken".

When the guy asked for my phone number, I simply thought it was for other needs. I am really astounded the sole purpose of getting my phone number was to plot such prank calls. What a betrayal of trust.

An update.
The boy who spoke on the phone, part of group waking me up at 3.45AM has yet apologised, but he managed to say following things:
(he) wanted to apologize
(he) did not know it was 3:45 AM... or had (he) known it was 3:45 AM... four times
That boy showed no hesitation on making prank calls and waking me up at 3.45AM; however, above was what he was managed to say in 50 minutes time period and no apology.

The last time you talked to me, I distinctly remember you mentioning that we called you 3 times.

I guess you read it too fast, I said:

He said that four times in a 50 minutes iChat conversation.
