Acqualia Software updated Picturesque to version 1.0.3 on Tuesday. The new version adds a popup control to quickly change the background colour.



Picturesque is written by two Australian year 12 students, Zac Cohen and Nik Youdale, and the software Picturesque won the Apple Design Awards - “Best Student Product”! (news)

Few features in version 1.0.3:

• New popup control for quickly changing the background colour.
  
• Can now specify precise values for effects by double clicking the slider’s value text.
  
• Added Russian, Czech and Spanish localisations.
  
• Many other changes and fixes.

Picturesque can beautify your images with reflections, soft glows, shadows, delicate curves, strokes and fades.

Picturesque 1.0.3 is a Universal Application and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later. It comes with a free trial period and is priced at US$19.50.
