Apple has updated its Windows version of Bonjour, the zero configuration network communication protocol. Bonjour for Windows 1.0.4 includes support for Windows Vista and 64-bit Windows. Bonjour is included with Mac OS X, and is available as a free download for Windows 2000, 2003, and XP.

Windows 2000/2003, Windows XP or Windows Vista

Bonjour, formerly known as Rendezvous, is a zero configuration networking technology that helps discovering network computer and devices, making connection to a network extremely easy.

Just as iPhoto's shared photos, and iTunes' shared library, users do not need to configure to find another computer on the network. (only one simple option - enable or disable the sharing)

In short, Bonjour is the zero configuration technology that enables users to find shared music/photos/video and network computers and printers without complicated set up.

So, if my network at work is all wired and complete; and if my netwrok at home is wired and wireless and also complete, what would Bonjour do for me?
