Hi!
I recently purchased the Mac Intel Dual and have been using it with Pro Tools 7.3.1 and has been working great with no problems. Last night when I installed Quicktime 7 Pro I discovered, to my horror, that Pro Tools will not load up. The Pro Tools globe bounces up and down about three times and stops-no completling and loading up the software. After searching around on the internet I discovered that seems to be issues with Quicktime and Pro Tools. So I trashed Quicktime. But still no pro tools! I even tried re-installing the pro tools software but nothing happened. At this point I do not know what to do. David Confused

I had the same problem after reinstalling protools 7.1.1cs - i trashed quicktime then ran tiger cache cleaner facility to 'repair permissions' and 'rebuild prebindings' , rebooted and then it loaded.
