According to The Daily Telegraph , Telstra has been in talks with Apple regarding which plans to launch the iPhone in Australia next year.
"The answer is simple: yes we'd be interested and we're exploring that option," Telstra CEO Sol Trujillo said.
Telstra's Next G network operates at the rarer 850Mhz frequency and requires specialised handsets. Mr Trujillo predicted Apple would produce a compatible iPhone.
