Any problem, anyone?
I uninstalled 2.0.0.9, which never failed, and installed 2.0.0.10. It verified add-ons, and died. I sent QF, and tried again. QF came up again. This is not going to be fun!
I tried another download, and, again it did not start downloading. They may be busy.
I Cancelled the second QF, but it is still in queue! Will try one more time.

Since NN is my default, I don't use FF that often. But I updated by simply running the update. No uninstall. In fact, I've never uninstalled and never had an issue with an update. Maybe I'm just lucky????

I had been told that incremental updates were of questionable quality, so I did the uninstall. Why should that have been a problem.
I had forgotten that I had a QF in queue, so after uninstalling/ reinstalling 2.0.0.10, QF came up. I went to uninstall 2.0.0.10, but I found only a 2.0.0.9 entry. I did the uninstall, and it messed up again. I had 3.0b1 installed in a different folder, and used, with no problem until this. Then, I realized that the latest version would have been uninstalled first. There was no entry for 3.0b1 in the Add/Remove. Finally, I selected to uninstall this phantom 2.0.0.9, but checked the mozilla firefox directory. I had a lot, but not all files. I deleted all files and folders, except for the plugins. Then, I uninstalled and reinstalled. QF came up just as FF2.0.0.10 also came up. I deleted the entry in queue for QF, and here I am, without 3.0b1, of course.

It's not just you. I never uninstall before I update Firefox and have never had any issues.

This is the last time that I will uninstall. It is easy to fix things if the incremental does not work.

Yes, my confidence in these auto-updates is quite high, especially in the last year or so, no problems; quite the Mozilla fan around here. Actually, on another machine I also have Netscape 9 installed just to have a look see as to what goes on with that and have Foxscape theme installed on NN 9 as I do with Firefox ... but the question: why even bother with Netscape? Firefox is the leading edge of any Netscape builds anyway so ... I just prefer to go with Firefox, sort of more straight to the source.

Today, after the installation debacle only Navigator9 worked. It is an excellent backup to Firefox, and, I use different Tabs in each.
