I wonder why a popup comes up saying "Cannot Create Directshow
Player", when I click one of the song links from this page, such
as this :

I checked my plugins and Windows Media Player seems to be
properly installed.

When I first clicked, I got a band on top, above the Tabs, bur it referred to the the title of your post. Once I opened the artistdirect.com page I could select any clop I wanted.
I am not using the standard Seamonkey, but rather a nightly of SM2.0. That should not make any difference, but I will check out if my SM1.1.13 behaves differently.
No difference. Note that 1.1.11 which you have is not the latest version.

Thank you, Fulvio.

It seems to be the same with many other online radio
websites, such as this. Clicking on the several of the stations
on the left menu, such as "Red FM" produces the same popup.
I think there is something wrong with my plugins.

I've noted that Seamonkey's audio/video plugins, particularly
Windows Media and Quicktime, won't work in many websites,
even thought the plugins DLLs are all in the browser. Switching
to Internet Explorer, they seem to work.

Which versions do you have installed? I have Windows Media 11 and Quicktime7.5.5, both of which are the latest. And, Seamonkey's last version is 1.1.13 (you are using 1.1.11).
I don't know if the versions count, but I have been using Firefox3.0.4, as well as Seamonkey with the same results. The latest link of yours opens with music, and there is a sort of yellow popup which start with Salamat Datang. I tried a number of links on the left side, some played, some including Red FM showed connecting to media, and did not go any further, in a couple of minutes. I am using MediaPlayerConnectivity extention v.0.8.3 , which opens Windows Media Player, from the link. The extention is very good in opening embedded links in the player.
Firefox3.0.4 uses MPC v.0.9.1, and Red FM opens very quickly, and so does the earlier link..
Make sure that you have up-to-date versions.
I have not seen the message in either Seamonkey nor Firefox.
