I just installed IE8 on one machine. No surprises, it brought everything over from IE7, including Roboform.
Some writers, critics, bloggers, have commented on speed. Some say FF is still faster, others say IE8. I noticed no material differences.

(In my installation of Windows XP under Parallels Desktop for Mac, it is still IE6.)

We still use IE 6 here at school, with no service packs, and it is horrible.
