Yep I received the self-same email today.
August is a 31-day month though and no word of WHEN in August it might ship.

Can't wait for the Final - Preview has been superb! Just wish AOL/Netscape would consider some of us unfortunates just going through divorce and wiped out by spouse - no credit card! They ever heard of online checks? |

That link was available yesterday, and as usual, it was a test link.
There was nothing yesterday, and permission denied, today.
Please, give some info after you download the program.

24 Aug, 2002 3:53 pm Once I have the CD..... |

Once I get the CD I ordered this week, what is the best way to install it. As you have probably read in my other posts, I am just getting N7pr1 working in the right direction. Will I have to delete my current profile and start over again? Or should I unload the pr1 version and then load the final version off the CD, keeping the same profile?
I am so confused.....
Thanks in advance....

Michael,
I have a step-by-step installation guide for Netscape 6, and that should be able to apply for Netscape 7, once you received your CD.

Do NOT remove your current profile. (Fulvio might suggest you to create a new one.)
My suggestion...
- Backup current profile.
- Uninstall current (7.0 PR1)
- Restart computer
- Install Netscape 7.0 final
Netscape 7.0 final should be able to use your current profile and do a bit modifications if necessary. Your bookmarks and emails/newsgroups should be safe.

Follow the other tips. I would try the same profile. I do not see a good reason for changing, but keep that possibility in mind.

September, which starts in less than a week from now.
So, that's certainly not too long to wait for it at all really. |

<rumour>Possibly the end of this week</rumour>
Mozilla 1.0.1 is /very/ close to being ready... It will likely be a case of releasing 1.0.1 and doing a respin of the commercial (Netscape) builds, and releasing it. |
