Sort of.

The Communicator-based Netscape 5.0 was cancelled and the Gecko-based Netscape was improved and then released with the version number bumped up to 6.0.

One way or other, if you want something buggy, there is Netscape6.0

What do you think was more buggy: NS5 in ngt_developer_release or NS6?

Having used both, I'd the developer preview of Netscape 5.0 was more buggy then Netscape 6.0 . . . but only just!

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

Just so you know, this is a source distribution. No binaries are included, and if I'm not mistaken the build process to the Netscape 5 is so far undocumented.

Please elaborate. Simply saying something, doesn't make it so. I make use of Opera from time to time... big deal. What is the point of being a fan-boy of anything? Use whatever works for you. Netscape 9 and Firefox happen to work best for me. I don't trumpet this about as though it were some sort of popularity contest. These kinds of antics are juvenile.
