BBCode 0.3.6 recently came out and is a handy tool in any text reply box in BBCode based forums. It does not have the unique SillyDog features and its smilies do not match with the set here at SillyDog.

* New localizations. Italian, Dutch and German
* Fixed Spanish Local, and Catalan Local.
* Added Smilies Very Happy

Description:
Adds a context menu for easy access to BBCODE formating in Forums, like this form (Firefox/Mozilla) .
Features include: size, color, bold, italic, underline, code, insert img, insert url, make selection url, make list, paste quote, and many more.

I would be careful using it on FireFox, and all extensions are somewhat risky, even on Mozilla 1.7.x. My home Mozilla setup loves it. My office system can not accept this or the spellchecker extension. Be sure to learn how to uninstall extensions before experimenting with this. I, personally, back up all of my "chrome" folders before installing extensions.

BBCode 0.3.7 was released on November 8th, 2004. This extension is available from Mozilla Update.

New in 0.3.7:

* Smilies Improved Very Happy
* New localization: [sv-SE]
* Make Email and Make Email from Selection Added
* Preferences available from the Context-Menu, and changes are dynamic, no reloading your browser is needed.

I installed this version on Mozilla 1.7.5 under Windows XP Pro, and it works fine. I have not tried on my office system which tends not to accept most extensions (video corruption occurs). I recommend backing up your profile and the chrome directory before installing any extension. FireFox seems better at accepting extensions.
