I knew this all along, but my comment was made because a Quick Launch bar was mentioned.
Anyway, I am done with 1.1. It has too many problems.

No, Edward is correct. The Quick Launch icon is in the Systray, to the right of the clock, according to the Help files! :wink:

I guess I did not read "samike"'s post. Yes, indeed, the icon is in the Systray, which in my configuration is to the left of the clock. It must be my clock (TClockEx).
By the way, I put back 1.1, installed from the full installer. Still, as slow as cold molasses in February. I noticed another anomaly. The home.xpi file, which places a button to the left of the URL bar, and has worked with every program since the early NS7.x, is ignored by SM1.1.
I was able to install the extention in SM1.0.7, but not in 1.1.
