I have a new computer with Vista and transferred all my information, files, etc from my XP. Everything works except when I am in Word and want to send an attachment, a menu comes up and says: Cannot load extended MAPI library mapi32.DLL. Then it says: Mail is not installed on your system. I use Outlook 2003 for my email and cannot understand why I can't send a file from Word. I could do it on my other computer.

Have you done an internet search for that error message text?
Is Outlook set as the default email client? ("Set Program Access and Defaults")

I did a Search, and found a lot of hits. The most pertinent and useful may be one from Microsoft support
