SillyDog701 April/May 2008 Online Chat

Postby beanboy89 » Mon 14 Apr, 2008 10:15 pm

I've talked to Antony regarding the fact that we haven't had an online chat in about four months. The weekends of April 26th/April 27th or May 3rd/May 4th have come up as possible choices. Time will be determined later.

Either date works just fine for me. I'd like to suggest a date of 15:00 GMT (3pm GMT). The last online chat was held at 00:00 GMT, so it seems only fair that the Americans should have to be up in the morning this time. :P

27th of April sounds good. It'd be somewhat uncomfortable for me on the 3rd/4th of May, because I have a test on the 8th and another one on the 10th, and I have to study for them, but I could probably still show up for a while.

It would only be 11:00 AM on the east coast. :)

I think we shall have the online chat on 26th/27th April 2008. Shall we have it on 15:01 GMT (3.01 pm GMT) instead? (This translates to early hours for US members and late hours for Australia members, but this may be fair as US has daylight saving on now.)

15:01 (GMT) will be 11:01 (EDST), according to Time Zone table

But how do I use an IRC client.
