I'll add a couple of warnings here that, as far as I know, there is no foolproof method for uninstalling Mozilla extensions, and most Mozilla extensions are certainly in the "beta" stage, so you could have trouble uninstalling extensions that cause difficulty. The Mozdev Extension Room has a section, Uninstalling Extensions to give uninstallation advice for Mozilla and older Firefox builds. The given procedure does not apply to Firefox 0.9 which has an Extension Manager.

I have the zipped build, and I can just disable them when I upgrade to a newer version.
