Streamline 7.02 (English, SillyDog701)

Postby Antony » Tue 18 Feb, 2003 7:08 pm

Well, as you should have noticed, Netscape 7.02 is availble now.
And Streamline 7.02 will be available a bit later...

(As usual, Holger has pushed his Compact out very fast.)
Due to the possibility of Netscape 7.02 Base, Streamline 7.02 be available, but would take a little bit while.

Streamline 7.02 will be better than ever!

I've already compiled DJGM-i Full-On and Pigeon Editions of NS7.02,
but I'm having big problems with the Lite Edition. It's totally broken!
If these current problems persist, there may not be a DJGM-i Lite
edition of NS7.02, just Full-on and Pigeon Editions . . . .

More news later!

Perhaps I shall explain what I meant by
Streamline 7.02 will be better than ever!

It simply means...
  • it will take longer to build.
  • Most likely it will have longer testing period than last time.
  • There will be Japanese Version

I am really busy these days, I haven't installed Netscape 7.02 yet. And in fact, in one of the machines, I am still using Netscape 7.0.

Remember, that if people have to wait for too long then they will just use official Netscape 7.02, or DJGM distros.

Hi Antony,

Don't mean to seem pushy, but I do agree with Mandrake, that people will be anxious for your Streamline Versions. I have already been asked by quite a few users, when your Versions will be available. I am in agreement that quality is worth waiting for, but not too long... As you stated, Hozilla was out of the starting gate like lightening, and I know you want to be able to compete.

I will start working on it this Saturday or Friday night.
New stuff?
Well, I've been working on a special edition of Streamline 7.01, but did not get it out... :-(

I personally would it to be out as quick as well, but I am really busy.

Yes folks, Antony needs to concentrate on his build and release a top-quality product.

We don't want him to get Grumpy, and have him end up buying an even larger Grumpy than he has now.
