Some clarification is necessary...

SuSE 10.0 OSS is the Open Source Software.

SuSE 10.0 GM is the evaluation version of the retail (boxed) software.

The login screen of SuSE 9.3 has a calendar/clock at the lower right corner of the screen.

Screenshots of 10.0 that I have seen, do not display the clock on the login screen. It would be nice if 10.0 could be set up so that it is displayed on the login screen.

Right now, I'm downloading the 5 CD ISO's of the PPC version of SUSE Linux 10.0, which will be
burned to the 5 remaining CD-R discs I've got of a pack of 10 CD-R's I recently purchased.

Later, upon the spare 10GB HDD I've installed in my old iMac, I'll be giving it a test drive.

Update:

I've burned the first of the 5 ISO images to CD. It's booted, but YaST won't start . . .
