T-bird Question

Postby James » Sat 27 Aug, 2011 12:48 pm

I send and receive my pop mail from my ISP and my hotmail as well through Thunderbird. Lately I've noticed that my pop mail after being composed and sent is ending up in the Sent box under my hotmail account rather than the Sent box under my pop mail account. How do I correct this?

Are you sure you're sending it under your pop mail account?

Also is the hotmail account set as the default SMTP account?

I should have marked this as resolved, John. Evidently it was in a drop-down menu item. You can actually have your Sent e-mail show up in your ISP's Sent box or in any of the "other" e-mail programs' Sent boxes that are included in your T-bird or SeaMonkey program. For some reason I had my ISP mail that was sent being saved over in my Hotmail. I changed that so that it no longer affects it. Thanks for looking.

If using more than one account, it's best to use the drop down feature for each account.
