I had a problem with my TI-89 calculator. I called Texas Instruments and told them my calculator had stopped working in the middle of the operating system update. So they said "press and hold the following keys, 2nd, then the left arrow, then the right arrow, and then on". There solution worked, but it was funny how similar it was to this tech support cartoon.

indeed thats HP/compaq to a tee in my experience.I
once had to call about a monitor and
the problem was never resolved
the monitor is in my shed right now
