The heat is in full force here, 37C yesterday, 39C today and 36C on Saturday! I've got a plentiful supply of cold drinks in the fridge. :)

To be honest Sydney is not that hot yet, but I needed some sun to dry my washing.

It's hot and sweltering here, it reached 38.3C in Perth today. Phew, well at least the temperature was revised down a little to 34C tomorrow. You can easily dry washing when it's a more reasonable 25 -> 30C.

I usually could, but not recently, as we have had quite a lot of rain.

It's raining outside, and still very high temperature (29.2°C), also high humidity.

(I know I don't need to find excuses to use the air conditioner.)

Heavy rain today here in Sydney. What does heavy rain mean? Stuck in traffic.

Although we've had unusual amount of rain recently, we had had water shortage in the past few years. And hope that the rain would continue through the upcoming real summer (a.k.a. bush fire season).

Antony-

We had such drought here in the Mid-Atlantic States, May-September, half of my ground cover in my back yard died, plant that were over 25 years old. Fortunately, as it is ground cover, in decent weather, with some rain, it will just re-spread.

Weather here in Dansville, NY has been relatively mild. We've had a lot of rain, and a lot of chilling temperatures. We've recieved however a little under an inch of snow.

However, back in the Pulaski, NY area, my hometown (Where I will be returning tomorrow, to finish out the school year, as the new school just hasn't worked out, unfortunately.) the weather has not been as nice. Relatively low temperatures have resulted in about 8" inches of snow. It really looks like winter up there. I'll take some pictures if I get a chance.

Hey John- Good luck back in Pulaski.

Friends in Pittsburgh (really Beaver, PA) were getting snow tonight.

Hot day today. I did two loads of washing, and stay inside the air conditioning room as much as possible ;-)

I live in Pulaski. Joy.

(It's moving North, too.)

Lake effect snow. Gotta love the stuff, there's a good foot of it out there.
