Ouch.

Do you get good electricity supply there? (As in not having many power cuts when most needed.)

The power supply is fairly reliable here but the odd, infrequent, power cut in summer is to be expected when everyone has the air conditioning in use.

31.5°C (88.7°F) outside now (according to my thermometer).

Christmas Day is forecast to have some showers here.

Just had a quick look at Weather Widget for picturesque Quincy:
beautiful snow today and tomorrow,
sunny on Christmas Day.

Skidded out a few times in that "beautiful snow" tonight, just to let you know.

Well, you know, skidding was pretty fun in the snow resort.

Skidding in a car, on the other hand, is potentially life-threatening.

Current local weather has been good today and yesterday. Should be good on Christmas, but the weather service is talking about a snow storm for Sunday evening going into Monday morning. At this time, nothing has been said officially as to how much snow the local area will receive, because the exact track of the storm is not yet known.

Indeed. I had a Christmas party last Monday that got called off due to the snowy conditions, that got rescheduled for tomorrow of all days! Looks like it's either not happening, or getting pushed back further.

I believe we're getting up to 20 inches by tomorrow afternoon.

Ouch.

I am sure you won't mind having some beautiful snow, unlike those lucky ones complaining having too much beautiful snow.

Weather around my area has been the usual for this time of year, only taken up a notch. We've gotten a lot of snow, around 100 or so inches. A white Christmas is an understatement! :p

Snow would be nice about now. After 40C on Monday, Tuesday was even worse. It was only 30C but the humidity was dreadful. This Sunday, and next Monday, we can expect more weather in the 38C range.

I am currently in Adelaide (SA) for a few days for holiday. Guess what? Extremely hot: 39°C!

Well, the worst part... Adelaide is expected to be the hottest New Year's Eve in the country with temperature up to 43°C.
