Here it's turning out to be the first warm week with temperatures having been consistently in the 70s (F) this week. It's been perfect for getting work done outside instead of having to stay indoors the entire week - and not a moment too soon since it's the last week of classes.

77 (F) here. And I'm dying. I miss my low twenties already. :( Since I have heat in my house, but not AC.

77°F or 25°C is too hot for you? How lucky you guys are! (Yes, I am jealous here.) We have to suffer 40+°C (in 104+°F) which is not uncommon during summer days.

Second thing I envy you guys is... Air conditioners are damn cheap in the States ( around $100 or $150 According to Don), in here, you are starting at about $1000 for the air conditioner then another $800 or more for the installation. Plus, we don't have cheap electricity like in the States.

I do not own an air conditioner, as the wiring in my house is too old to support one without risk of fire. It would cost met 4000$ alone to rewire, not to mention the cost of another air conditioner. It is only May, yes I am dying when I work in a room with 2 CRTs, and external hard drive, a desktop, a laptop, and a server running 24/7. I miss winter, a lot. In the winter, I don't even need to heat my office, or the upstairs of my house.

Soaking wet and pretty cold today. And the forecast says more wet days are ahead.

(Despite being cold, we are not lucky enough to have beautiful snow.)

Today's greetings started with freezing weather.

Today, Sydney had it's coolest day in 12 months. The highest temperature was only 14°C, however, very strong (and cold) wind chill today.

Cold today as well, however, Brisbane (in Queensland, the sunshine state) is surprisingly cooler than Sydney.

Good to have some changes

Well, tonight is late shopping night, but too cold to go out. :(

The temperature here got up to 37C today. Thankfully work is air conditioned, or I'd have had a hard time staying at my desk all day!

We hit 34C here today, with a heat index of near 38C. Since I work outside, it was not fun at all. Enjoy your cold weather, Antony.

It's been rather cold here too, I have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying the cold weather after the summer that lasted forever.

After about 2 weeks of wet weather, it was good to have sun over the weekend. Still cold, but at least not wet.

Wet wet wet and cold. Record rainfall here in Sydney for July.

Making me unwilling to go out. Well, on the brighter side, I can have longer showers.

Welcome to Pacific Northwest weather, Antony. It's what we have 90% of the year. Right now in the midst of summer our temperature is 64 degrees F and it's overcast and raining. :(

It was a very very wet day yesterday, and last night's news reported that this July in Sydney is the wettest July in 61 years. It was also extremely cold.
