Text Zoom

Postby swirven » Wed 01 Jan, 2003 2:04 pm

Is there a way to set your text zoom to be at something other than 100% automatically when you open your browser. I would like to set it so the default would be at 120% when I open Netscape so that I don't have to do it always.

Hi swirven

I briefly tried this.. see if it serves your purpose... GOTO
Edit / Preferences / Appearences (expand) / Fonts
Travel your eyes 2/3's way down the page, right center. See "Minimum Font Size". Mine is set at 12, yours? If yours is at 12 x 120% = 14.4, Click the down arrow key for choices... select 14, "OK" to the screen. I tried 24 for grins and giggles, took the view to about 200%. Play around until you get the view you want. Good luck. Post Back.

Thanks Dennis. That is exactly what I needed. That works better than setting everything at 120%. That way only the small print is larger.
