me thinking . . . Since Apple have got such a riproaring success on their hands with the iPod,
what if they were to re-enter the PDA market, and introduce a brand new PDA device with a
design based heavily on the current iPod? With a larger screen, and the ability to do what
your average PocketPC can do and more, but in that unmistakablely unique Apple style.
So, I came up with . . . the iPad!

The "iPad" would have everything you'd expect on a PDA. The OS would be a miniaturised
version of Mac OS X, and would run condensed versions of popular Mac OS X apps, such
as iTunes Mini, QuickTime Cute, and the Safari MicroBrowser, enabling users to listen to
their digital music collection just like on an iPod, and also be able to watch videoclips
downloaded from the internet, or video messages sent from "3G" cellphones, as
well being able to have "the worldwide web in your pocket".
The "iPad" display would be a hi-res touchscreen LCD, and the unit would come with a
an "iPen" to navigate the GUI. Also, it would be built from the exact same materials as
the iPod, made with an acrylic front, and mirror-like metall finish on the back. It would
also feature the famous "clickwheel" to navigate and scroll documents and webpages.
It would contain the same sort of HDD as the iPod. The entry level model would have
a 40GB HDD, while the mid-range model has 80GB, and the top end model has 120GB.
Here's a mock promotional advert I've created for the "iPad" . . .

So, what do you reckon?
