What if . . . Microsoft owned (or at some point "acquired") Apple . . . ?

Presenting . . . Microsoft Mac OS XP . . . !

I certainly hope that does not happen any time soon! :(

Actually, considering that many Windows XP users seem to valiantly try to make their OS look and feel like Mac OS X, the reverse scenario displayed in your screen shot is as such amusing, if grim.
It looks like Microsoft discovered how to center window titles for the first time since Windows 3.1x.

It was actually worked out that Microsoft could purchase Ati, Nvidia, AMD, MSI and Apple and still have more than half their money left.

Two questions for DJGM:

1. Where did you get the round Netscape icon for 7.1 in the SuSE 8.2 desktop above.

2. How do you get the OS information to display on the desktop as shown in the Longhorn desktop?

That is shown at all times on Windows beta/alpha releases, but can be made to show on final releases. Information on how to do this is here.

Where did you get the Firefox wallpaper? That's neat!

(And will that wallpaper with XP?)

The Firefox wallpaper can be found here . . .

It's available in the JPG format, so it'll work on any modern OS . . .

The wallpaper in the same msg right above the Firefox graphic looks great as well. Is that one also available online?
