Have you seen the new look at Mozillazine forums? Really cool.
Now, if I can get some help there, that would be the cat's pajamas.

It looks like they updated to phpBB3, and in the process lost their old theme, presumably due to incompatibility.

Yes, it looks very phpBB 3.

SillyDog701 Message Centre is yet to decide to upgrade to phpBB 3 or not. It is likely we will, but not immediately.

Antony-

What are the benefits? I mean, you know, if there is money involved, it depends on the benefits. The real question is content, how much help we get, how much we give.

There is no question in my mind, if Mozillazine was all it is cracked up to be, SillyDog would be something other than it is, or would not exist. We gravitate here for a reason, and content is the reason.

I use a music service which is currently 64k .wma, and the owner is hell bent to go to 128k .mp3. But, the stream sounds great as it is, and I know he does not own a bank, so I have said find something else to do for which you need money, and that is what they are doing.

From where I sit, there is nothing wrong with SillyDog as it is.

I agree. SillyDog is the best; always has been, always will be! :D

Thanks for the support guys.

I don't see anything wrong with current phpBB2 system. We've been using phpBB2 for years, and it been working well. I am sure phpBB3 has features/benefits over phpBB2, and I admit I have not investigated those benefits yet.

Upgrading to phpBB3 is free. When time is permitted, I will take a deep look at phpBB3.

Of course, if someone can persuade me that SD701 Message Centre must run on phpBB3, I will then put phpBB3 as the first task. (Yes, SD701 is very open.)
