The Phenomenon of Bushisms

Let Me Preface my posting by saying that I love my country. I am a Cuban- American, but I was born in the United States, and that is where my loyalties lie. I have the utmost respect and reverence for the office of the President of the United States. Regardless of whether or not I share the same political views as whoever serves in the office, I show them the same respect I afford to all Presidents. Whoever the President is, he represents the majority of the country, as they are the ones that elected him.

That said. I have serious questions sometimes about the way President George W. Bush represents the United States, particularly when speaking in public. Even his staunchest supporter must admit that he isn’t exactly a gifted public speaker. (And I’m being nice.) His inability to handle things like vocabulary, grammar, common sense, sympathy, empathy, and control of Freudian Slips can be quite embarrassing.

ROFL. Eddie the Bushisms are very funny.

Yes, we in Canada heard about being a third world country, but most Canadians have electricity and hardwood floors in their 14 room homes and we don't have to walk to the 'privvies' in the rain.
Most also have gas guzzling SUV's in their garage.

We also had a good laugh at our border with Mexico.
So many jokes about that.
I think he might have gotten mixed up with Cuba as many Canadians go there in the winter, although personnally I haven't. The ocean doesn't make any difference to him as he probably thinks it isn't there.

It's too bad that he thinks the U.S.A. goes all the way to the Arctic Ocean including the Northwest passage. The U.S. has only one state in the northwest, which is Alaska.
I prefer freezing in the cold weather, that always seem to end up in the U.S.A. from Canada, to cool all the hot air that seems to come from mouths of some politicians.

It's strange, while New York, Washington and Boston received a huge snowfall a few weeks ago, it was a beautiful sunny SNOWLESS day where I live.

He sure doesn't look very Presidential on some occasions while trying to answer some questions. :)
