Thank you, and it's true that Apple does know how to make devices look good. Although the G4 Cube's design is no longer the current trend, I still quite like the look of it.

Rest assured it is nowhere as many as Don's scary amount of laptops or Wallendar's 27+ computers.

Just a thought, you need a bigger desk.
In December/January period, I ended up getting 3 desks from IKEA. (I know I am cheap.)

iBook (FireWire, clamshell) Model No.: M6411, manufactured in year 2000 (13 years old, which translates to when Don was 9 (aD 9).).

I love the colourful look of the old Clamshell iBook. It just looks like a fun, inviting computer to use, particularly for young people.

Here's the photo of my recently acquired iMac G4 20-inch (USB 2.0) PowerPC G4 1.25GHz with 1GB of RAM (PC2700 DDR SDRAM, 333MHz), and GeForce FX 5200 Ultra (64MB).

Specs-wise, it's a bit better than the Clamshell iBook. However, it is almost a decade old, (production period was from 18 November 2003 to 1 July 2004, translates to aD 12)



I know it looks familiar, because I have two similar looking ones (17-inch model).

All those three slow iMac G4s are of the same (last) USB 2.0 models, all 1.25GHz Power PC G4.

Just thought you guys might like taking a gander at my setup.

Below is a Dell OptiPlex 755. I got it for $150. It has a Core 2 Duo E6750 that runs at 2.66Ghz, though soon to be upgraded to a Q6600. It has a 500GB hard drive, 6GB DDR2 and unfortunately my nVidia ION for graphics right now.


Here's what's on my desk, my two 23" HANNspree HF235 monitors.


That also has my steelseries G6v2 mechanical gaming keyboard. Absolutely love this things, hands down one of the best keyboards I've ever used. I actually bought a second one to use at work. If you're ever thinking about getting a mechanical keyboard, do it. So worth the money. And if you're not sure which one to get, I would so recommend this one.

Very interesting John. You know... my wife and I have had our own desktop computers for years (a variety of models). We're now at a stage where we no longer want desktops so we're in the process of getting rid of them and returning this office into a spare bedroom. We have tablet and a laptop but once we find the Windows 8 ultrabooks that we like, we're going in that direction. No more computer desks. No more taking up a ton of space. Most of our computing, even our picture manipulations, can be one on ultrabooks and we don't need the large screen monitors anymore. Probably the local school will benefit. BUT... I admire your system. Very artistic desk by the way. Are you an art student?

Not so much a student, but I do a lot of art work in my free time. A lot of it on my desk haha, so it tends to be a bit messy. As weird as this may seem, I actually really like my desk haha. I'm a very clean person otherwise, but I like the character my desk has from all my art.
