Laurent and I visited the zoo yesterday, thanks to the free zoo pass from my air conditioner purchase.

You always seem to have a shopping bag, Antony. You must really love to spend money, eh?!

Based on my conversations with him, Antony is a self-professed window shopper and therapy shopper.

Well, when I go out (most photos of me are taken outside), I tend to carry a bag. It is handy to have a carry bag with you.

As for the red Myer bag in question, it was actually my new manbag (because I forgot to bring a bag with me to Adelaide).

Well, unlike beautiful Boston or picturesque Quincy with beautiful butterflies. Here in Sydney, annoying insects.

They are not mating. One roach was trying to eat another (dead) roach.

Is that a bronze statue of a pig?

Boston is quite beautiful in winter, especially when there is snow on the ground. A few weeks ago, we had a freak snowstorm that dumped 4-6 inches of snow in the area. Snowstorms in October up here, are quite rare.

Have you been to Quincy?

Thank you for confirming that. Please tell that to Don.

No, never been to picturesque Quincy. Don lives there.

Great shots in terms of color rendition and overall resolution. They're tack sharp and I noticed that I did not see artifacts in the low-light situations. You've got a great camera there. I'm going to have to take a look at one of these myself. I'm getting tired of lugging around my dslr.

Excellent picture indeed! :)

I've been trying to figure out why Thunderbird and SeaMonkey will not display most e-mails received from mobile phones with pictures. Both will either display empty placeholders, or nothing at all. It's not carrier-specific either, I've seen this with two different carriers and multiple brands of mobiles.

Nice photos! But wait, no beautiful snow!?

As for me, I am getting a light-weight interchangeable lens camera. Actually, I ordered one already.

Still impatiently waiting for my new camera. (This is not United States, and we don't get the first batch of supply as well as the very limited quantity. Americans are damn lucky to be the first to get all latest gadgets.)

A neat old bridge in the area. It's about 90 years old and crosses a local river.

Two great shots... especially the second. Here's something you might want to consider. Try and white and black treatment and a sepia treatment (with your software) of the second shot to make it appear as though it were taken years ago. I think black and white would be a stronger image than color. In fact, the second shot looks good enough to hang on your wall. I love the perspective in that shot.
