Mac G4 Digital Audio
OS 9.2 & 10.2
Bias Peak - I run in 9.2
-----------
PROBLEM: After recording for 1/2hr to 3/4hr prog does a nose dive when I click stop.

I have downloaded a nifty piece of software (SoundHack) which recovers the scratch file and writes a header, but that is only an interim solution.

I am looking at stopping the screensaver - which I believe is fouling the works and making Bias Peak throw a wobbly. Only I have looked and looked for the place where you turn it off.
I have all the energy savings set to never so that bit's ok. But where is the animated screensaver to be found. Its rather a lovely one, shows the earth, stars, planets etc but I'd rather keep it off for now.

Am I right in suspecting that it might be in the 10.2 side, in which case how does it run in 9.2 (which I am booting from and not running native in 10.2)

Oh the joys of software conflicts.

Have you checked the settings in Apple menu | Control Panels | Energy Saver? (OS 9)
