Contrary to many Apple bashers' claim on closeness of Apple, Apple will release SDK for iPhone to developers next February, Apple announced today.
The SDK will provide an advanced and open platform to developers while at the same time protect iPhone users from virus, malware, privacy attacks, etc.
The iPhone SDK will also work on iPod touch.
Currently, there are Web apps for iPhone available directly from iPhone - Web apps page.
