Thunderbird 11.0.1 Released

Postby Edward » Sat 31 Mar, 2012 8:54 am

Mozilla has released Thunderbird 11.0.1 for Linux, MacOS and Windows.

The Release Notes indicate two bugs were fixed, one pertains to IMAP mail.

It can be downloaded from Mozilla's web site.

I am using Thunderbird, only, occasionally. And, like Firefox, it refuses to install the small incremental update, and requires a complete download of the installer.

It should install the incremental update. Have you checked the update options?

That is my usual procedure. But, I must say that starting with v.3 or 4, both Firefox and Thunderbird, downloaded the incremental, went through the motions, and then, told me that the update failed, and that the entire installer would be downloaded next. Then, everything was ok. Only Firefox 11 worked with the incremental.
And, I must say that TB11.0.1 downloaded the complete installer without asking me if it was ok, and it worked.
