Thunderbird, can reciever email but can't sent

Postby RB2D2 » Sun 07 Feb, 2016 9:54 pm

One of my Comcast email accounts in Thunderbird has a problem. I can receive email but when I reply, or send a fresh email, it appears to be successfully sent and it appears in my Sent folder however the person I sent it to doesn't receive it. Not just one person, any person I sent to.

I have another Comcast email account and it works perfectly.

Anyone have a clue what the problem might be?

Have you tried to send to yourself? If negative, take a look at this: https://www.siteground.com/kb/cannot_se ... underbird/
But, when I did a Search, I came up with conflicting responses, accussing a Windows update, or a Thunderbird update.
Personally, I use Thunderbird, only, to receive emails. Seamonkey is my email program. Old, but tried.

Thunderbird, can receive email but can't sent.. I don't think so. I am using it and its working well. If you are facing any problem then you might not have configured correctly. Check it once. I think it will work well.
