Thunderbird Email: Autoreply Available?

Postby lindenhills » Fri 06 Apr, 2007 6:20 pm

I would like to set up an "Autoreply" function for those times that I will be on fieldwork.

I cannot find such a setting in Thunderbird: does it exist? Can an add-on be downloaded?

Many thanks! =^..^=

I believe the Autoreply feature is to be done through your email server. Not all email providers provide such feature (I could be wrong.)

Please contact your network administrator or ISP.

Hi Antony, thanks for your note!

I'm fairly sure there is a Thunderbird extension because if I put 'autoreply' into the Thunderbird Help Function search window, I do come up with a long list of discussions on this extension. I just don't know where to find it...

Deborah,
your reply came within one minute or less of my post. I gave you two links. The first one is a discussion, and the other one is more of a download link. I suggest that you read both.
